Slice of Radish

Technically these are 'watermelon' tourmalines, but I think they look more like radishes with the pink outer 'skin' and hearts of pink.  They're about the size of a Canadian nickel and total 15.17 ct but are still light and comfortable to wear.  I kept the 18k white gold frame to a minimum to allow the gorgeous gems to show off, which additionally has kept the weight down for such a showy pair of earrings.  I certainly won't ever see these gems again!  Set on shepherd's hooks.
